Sixth Degree Sunburn is the solo project of Jasper Bos.
In early 2024, Sixth Degree Sunburn began recording demos from his bedroom. These demos involve tracks such as “Burn”, “Like Her” and “Cactus”. Some main influences to sixth degree sunburn’s unique sound have been: Sign Crushes Motorist, Duster, Car Seat Headrest, Alex G, and plenty more.
As of August 2024, Sixth Degree Sunburn has released 4 singles, the newest being a track off the upcoming album “A Night to Remember” entitled “Ghost”. This short track deviates from the standard looped demo sound, and instead offers a cleaner and more mastered sound, whilst still maintaining the low-fi bedroom aesthetic that earlier tracks provided.
