Bonita Hablis is an 18-year-old indie/dark pop artist whose haunting melodies and cinematic lyricism pull you somewhere deep. With breathy layered vocals and atmospheric production, Bonita’s music finds beauty in melancholy — intimate, dreamlike, and impossible to shake. Jasmin Adria brings the kind of raw, documentary songwriting that stops you in your tracks. Championed by ABC’s Dave Ruby Howe and featured on Triple J’s Class of 2022, this Surf Coast-raised artist channels the spirit of Joni Mitchell and Courtney Barnett into something entirely her own — honest, vivid, and deeply felt.
Milkpunch bring garage rock energy, glossy synths, and sharp pop hooks to the Basement. Praised by The Music Network and Triple J Unearthed, this Melbourne band draws from The Beatles’ eclecticism and The Voidz’ experimentalism for a live show that’s raw, infectious, and seriously fun. Capgun are a four-piece indie rock and shoegaze outfit who blend 90s alternative rock, folk, and fuzzy Melbourne indie into something that feels both nostalgic and gritty. Formed after meeting at uni in 2024, they’re already turning heads with their heartfelt, fuzz-drenched sound. And Stockings — a powerhouse new project featuring members of Karen Took The Kids, the Noise, and CWA — deliver poignant lyricism, post-punk bite, and softer indie moments that feel deeply personal. Their debut EP is already generating serious buzz, and this is your chance to see them before they headline Nighthawks later this month.
