Blending surf and suburbia geographically and sonically, B-Sides are a Melbourne based band comprised of members Ned (Guitar/Vocals), Harry (Guitar), Will (Drums), and Mac (Bass). In mid-2024, they burst onto the local scene, bringing their washy grunginess from festivals in Mornington to the Curtin in Melbourne.
With true authenticity and passion, the band’s songs speak to the nameless but universal challenges of youth and suburbia, offering an outlet to overcome them with tender and vulnerable lyricism, and creative, improvisational guitar riffs.
Drawing from a legacy of phenomenal sounds, like Hockey Dad, Courtney Barnett, Current Joys, and Seattle grunge, the B-Sides are looking forward to recording and performing throughout 2025, bringing their unique, authentic, and powerful sound to as many ears as they can.
